Ah old age. The golden years. The time in your life when you can sit back and relax with all of the money you have hopefully saved.

But really folks what choice do you have? It is not like you are going to start running marathons, take break dance classes or join the circus now is it?

Life is for the young. Death is for the old.

Once you reach a certain point in your life you start to reflect back on the why didn’t I do… Or I should have done….

You only have one shot at life. And realistically it is not like you have your full life to do those things. Most things you have to wait until you are an adult to be able to do them.

So take off 18 years. If you are fortunate/unfortunate to live until 80  80-18= 62

I am going to be generous here and say that 60 is the cut off time. For most it is considerably earlier and for the lucky it is later.

So you are left with 62 years to be able to do things.

62-20= 44

20 is the years from 60-80.

Now I don’t want anyone to get their panties in a knot here. It is a fact folks plain and simple. You can not do the same things with the same amount of vigor as you could when you were 30 when you are 70.

Yes you may be able to do them. But are you really doing them?

People will clap and applaud you for doing it at your age. But lets get real here folks.

We all know that they are applauding that you can do it at your age. Not that you are doing it well.

So bottom line take risks, make mistakes live your life when you are young and full of vigor.

To save all of your money so that you can be happy when you are riding around on an electric scooter and using a cane is not my idea of living.

Take advantage of your health. Worry about tomorrow tomorrow. Live for today.
